FENDER MIJ TRADITIONAL ‘50S TELECASTER IN WHITE BLONDE
It’s no exaggeration to say that Fender’s MIJ models are consistently among the very finest guitars we have in stock. Even today, with increased availability in the West, supply is more patchy than with models produced in, say, North America. Combined, these factors produce a range of guitars for which our staff have a particular soft spot. Though not officially a Limited Edition model, this ‘50s Tele is coming to Europe in highly limited numbers, making ownership an experience few will enjoy.
This guitar’s foundation is an American Basswood body, imbuing it with a lightness and musicality which suits the Tele perfectly. To this is bolted a “U”-Shape Maple neck, topped with a 9.5”-radius Maple fretboard for intuitive playability. The two Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele pickups provide period-correct tones, controlled via a 3-way selector switch.
A 3-Saddle Vintage Style Tele with Brass Barrel Saddles has been fitted for authentic Tele tone, while the looks are straight out of the period too: the gloss White Blonde finish has been painstakingly applied, matching perfectly with the single-ply Eggshell pickguard and knurled dome control knobs.
The Fender MIJ Traditional 50s Telecaster in White Blonde is your ticket back to the first production electric guitar’s first decade in production, executed with all the precision of Japan’s finest luthiers.
