The Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.) is standard on all FGN guitars and basses. FGN designed it with the goal of providing better pitch and articulation than traditional guitars and basses. All frets are set on the fingerboard in a slightly curved shape, so that every string crosses all the frets at 90 degrees, i.e. to provide the least amount of string contact on a fret, and it makes the scale length of every string the same whereas it actually varies with traditional fretting. The C.F.S. is a fretting solution for traditional guitars and basses that provides clearer articulation and tones that add dimension while playing chords and cut through the mix when playing single notes.
