Based on the popular multi-scale construction, the Ibanez RGMS7 has its own scale for each string, which increases from 25.5 inches for the highest to 27 inches for the lowest string, guaranteeing precise sound development even during extreme drop-tunings. The mahogany body offers the well-known sleek RG contours with wide cutaways and all access neck joint for unhindered access to the high positions of the maple walnut neck held in the flat “Wizard III-7” profile.

Ibanez Array-7 MS Humbucker

Another striking feature of the Ibanez Standard RGMS7-BK Multiscale 7-String Black is the Ibanez Array-7 MS Humbucker. Especially developed for modern drop-tunings, the pickups convince with a dynamic and tight sound, which precisely defines every note and with a distinctive growl gives every riff or solo an enormous assertiveness. To control the pickups, a 5-way blade switch as well as general volume and tone controls are available, which can be used to call up versatile tones.

Furthermore, the Ibanez Standard RGMS7 convinces with an indestructible hardware equipment, which is perfectly tuned to the 7-string guitar. Accordingly, seven Ibanez Mono-Rail single bars sit on the body, which ensure an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position even during extreme drop-tunings. In addition, Ibanez die-cast tuners on the head plate ensure precise and stable tuning.
