The Michael Kelly Hybrid Special Left Handed is here presented in a Spalted Burst finish. This guitar combines acoustic and electric tone through the inclusion of both a Fishman® under-saddle pickup and twin humbuckers. The chambered mahogany allows a more open acoustic sound without compromising electric tone. A simple 3-way selector allows you to choose between fully acoustic, fully electric and a blend of the two. Both humbuckers are equipped with coil-tap, further enhancing the guitar’s versatility.

The Michael Kelly Hybrid Special allows its player to seamlessly switch between acoustic and electric tones – all without changing guitar. The Fishman® Powerchip and Fishman® under-saddle pickup provides cutting edge acoustic tone, while the twin Rockfield magnetic humbuckers allow everything from overdriven crunch to single-coil chime, thanks to coil tap. With the use of a Y-Cable, the player can send the signal from the magnetic pickups to one amp or channel and the signal from the acoustic tone to another.

Beautifully finished, the Michael Kelly Hybrid Special Left Handed features mother of pearl inlays on the Pau Ferro Fretboard. Chrome Grover tuners complement the classic look, along with the elegant F-Holes on the body. The body, neck and headstock are bound, for a more luxurious feel, while wooden pickup covers imbue the guitar with a more boutique look.
