THE ORANGE OB1-300 BASS HEAD IS RACK-MOUNTABLE AND FEATURES 300 WATTS OF POWER.
This bass guitar amplifier has a pretty unique design. The Orange OB1-300 takes inspiration from Bi-Amping. Splitting the signal path of the instrument gives you two different sounds. One side delivers crystal clear tones. The second signal pumps it with 2 stages of distortion to the upper harmonics. The drive can be reeled in using the gain control. To add even more tonal options the two signals can be combined using the Blend control. The Blend control can be foot-switched on and off. This feature gives the Orange OB1-300 huge tonal options.
ALL ANALOGUE SIGNAL PATHS WITH ACTIVE EQ.
With an all-analog signal path, it is proper Class A/B. By keeping the Orange OB1-300 analogue it is expressive and highly musical. The Active EQ gives you complete control over your sound. The Bass and middle control has a +/-15dB of boost or cut. The treble control has a +/-15dB of boost or cut. The EQ has been placed after the gain and blend. It has balanced DI with ground lift as well as line-level outputs. Great for the stage and in the studio. This bass amp head will slot neatly into a nineteen-inch Case (2U). It has neat styling and a tough metal construction. If you need a bit more power than 300 watts you could take a look at the OB1-500.
