The Schecter Omen 6 in in Charcoal has an immediately familiar Strat-style silhouette, but that’s where tradition ends! Visually, the matching Burl body top and headstock face provide a modern look, further enhanced by the black hardware and binding. The Rosewood fretboard is intricately inlayed with Schecter’s Pearloid Line markers, further setting the tone for an overall striking aesthetic.

The Omen Elite 6’s thin ‘C’ profile neck is constructed from Maple, and bolted to the Mahogany body, which provides outstanding thick and resonant tone. A 14” radius fretboard radius is perfect for modern styles, facilitating fast progress across the ‘board and extreme string bends. X-Jumbo frets further enhance this fast-paced playing style.

Tonally, the Schecter Omen 6 in Charcoal is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Heretic pickups, which provide, heavy, articulate tone.

Poplar burl top

One of the Omen Elite-6’s standout features has to be its deeply figured poplar burl top. As a tonewood, poplar — a common alder alternative — is known for its light weight, resonant qualities, and meaty tone. And combined with its compelling visual figuring and rich mahogany complement, it’s a solid foundation for stage metal to arena rock.

Rust Grey Black body/neck backing
