THE YAMAHA LS-TA TRANSACOUSTIC IN VINTAGE TINT FEATURES BUILT IN EFFECTS THAT NEED NO EXTERNAL AMPLIFICATION.
At first glance the Yamaha LS-TA TransAcoustic looks like a normal high end acoustic. Its Solid Engelmann Spruce features Yamaha’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) technology and a beautiful Vintage Tint finish. This is paired to Solid Rosewood back and sides for an outstanding acoustic tone. However, magic lies within the LSTA Trans Acoustic. An actuator mounted inside the guitar produces authentic reverb and chorus sounds from the tonewood of the guitar itself. There’s no speaker, just the actuator transmitting vibrations in response to those from the strings. From the actuator, to the tonewood, to the air in and around the guitar. It has to be seen to be believed!
The effects are controlled via 3 simple dials mounted to the top side of the instrument. There are 2 types of Reverb, Room & Hall which can be used in combination with a lush Chorus. Although the Yamaha LS TA does not require an amplifier it also features a piezo pickup allowing you to play plugged in if you need to.
