Crafted to the highest standards by Yamaha’s master luthiers in Japan, Revstar Professional guitars represent the pinnacle of the new Revstar series. The Yamaha Revstar Professional RSP20 in Swift Blue features a chambered body designed to sculpt tone and reduce weight, with carbon reinforcement in the body and neck to improve vibration transfer.

5-way switching includes a subtle phase shift in positions 2 and 4, slightly delaying the opposite pickup for a fresh take on classic “in-between” sounds. The push/pull Tone control activates a passive boost with an effect similar to overwound pickups—darker highs, increased mids and lows, and an aggressive character. Yamaha’s I.R.A. process applies specific vibrations to release stresses between an instrument’s components, resulting in a new guitar with “played-in” sound and feel.
